The SWA Spring Show is a professionally judged, non juried show and sale representing a wide variety of art media and disciplines. It features over $1600 in cash prizes in 6 judged categories, sponsor selected awards and a Peoples’s Choice award. Karen Madsen, Artstra Board Chair, serves as judge for this exhibition. Eligibility

Open to all artists 18 & older.

Original work only: no copies, classwork or collaborations. No reproductions of originals or copyrighted images.

Art must not have been previously entered in a SWA show.

Art must be appropriate for public spaces.

Show committee reserves the right to determine whether art meets the show or category requirements.
Registration / Entry

Open to all artists 18 & older.

Artists may enter up to 3 works of art.

Art must be dry and ready to hang with wire that is at least 2 inches below the top. No saw tooth hangers or clips. Art not properly wired may be rejected.

Maximum within 36” and a maximum height is 36” for hanging art. Larger pieces are displayed on easels. Large pieces incur an additional fee and are limited to one per artist, as space allows.

Weight limits: 2D—not to exceed 20 lbs. 3D—not to exceed 40 lbs.

Registration closes on April 17, or when 200 pieces of art are registered.

Registration will be invoiced via PayPal and is due upon receipt. Registrations not paid by April 17 will be void.
