Pastel Demo by Susan Kuznitsky

In June 2021, the Society of Washington Artists hosted a pastel demo by the accomplished artist, Susan Kuznitsky, PSA, NWPS, CPP, PSWC, IAPS MC.
 
 

Susan has had an extensive art education from the American Academy of Art in Chicago to studying under accomplished artists such as Joe Abbrecia, Albert Handell, and Richard Schmid. She is a member of the following organizations:

International Association of Pastel Societies - Master Pastelist.

Oregon Society of Artists – Member, and Instructor
 Northwest Pastel Society – Signature Member
 Chicago Pastel Painters – Honorary Member

West Coast Pastel Society -Signature Member

Pastel Society of America - Signature Member

In her demo, she provided many tips and tricks on how to successfully apply pastels in layers to create a beautiful piece of artwork. This is an excellent demo to watch if you are wanting to explore the world of pastels or if you want to learn to work with pastels better.
