The June 2016 Color Workshop taught by Diana Thewlis was a great success! Diana led the class by presenting a variety of examples of her artwork as well as that of others. She explained how color can control the way people view a painting. It has the ability to create mood and feelings. The handouts she provided were full of information that each student can refer to for years to come. Diana demonstrated several examples of the warms and cools in the world of color. She then sent the students on a learning journey to create and discover the magic of color. Here are of just a few of the many color studies that were produced throughout the day.
