In June 2021, the Society of Washington Artists hosted a pastel demo by the accomplished artist, Susan Kuznitsky, PSA, NWPS, CPP, PSWC, IAPS MC.
Susan has had an extensive art education from the American Academy of Art in Chicago to studying under accomplished artists such as Joe Abbrecia, Albert Handell, and Richard Schmid. She is a member of the following organizations:

In her demo, she provided many tips and tricks on how to successfully apply pastels in layers to create a beautiful piece of artwork.
